life beyond the well…

Who is Erin?

cropped-artbyash-photography-31.jpg

Erin can be described in many ways, but most prominently as a Christian, a wife, a mama, daughter, sister, cousin, friend, mentor, and your favorite girl next door.  She considers herself to be an education enthusiast, spending her entire professional career working in education with students from middle school through college, helping to make real their dream of attending the college of their choice.

Erin is most passionate about Jesus, seeking His will, and helping others to live their best possible life through Him by infusing her love of education and leadership development in this process.  She is proud to be married to her favorite preacher man and best friend, Ernest.

In her spare time, Erin can be found enjoying cupcakes with buttercream frosting, reading, preparing healthy meals, and trying to convince her husband that she needs more shoes, Moleskine notebooks, and Pepsi.  She is active in her local church, and is determined to live a life worthy of the calling she has received.  Her ultimate desire is to change lives and hearts for Jesus, and she writes to encourage people in the Lord.

  3. You are such an inspiration. I found your blog recently and have been reading it religiously. I grew up in Louisiana, went away (New York) to college and taught a year or two, and I am now in the process of moving back south to Alabama to teach 11th and 12th grade. You are funny, insightful, and seem to have such a good attitude about what you do. Anyway, I’ve been reading blindly and I thought I would at least let you know that you have had a huge impact on me (especially since I am at a new school where I don’t know anybody etc). Thanks for blogging!!

  4. You definitely peaked my interest. I look forward to getting to know you better, interacting with you and hopefully working with you in the near future. I also really like your blog. Can’t wait to read more.

    Stay Blessed,

  6. Erin…so excited to swap buttons with you! I love your blog and look forward to following!

  7. I love love love your blog and your desire to see lives changed because of Jesus is so awesome!
Can I complain for just like two seconds? There is only one picture of ya’ll! People like pictures, well, I like pictures. I know some people don’t put pictures up because it’s a modesty or being humble thing, but when we are on blogs and can’t meet people face to face, pictures are cool. I am just saying. Maybe I am weird though.
Anyway, I seriously love your blog and I love that you are a preacher’s wife. I am not married yet, but my boyfriend is a worship pastor and the college minister at our church. So I like to connect with other women who love Jesus. And women who are full time ministers to other women! So cool. I don’t know you but it seems evident by your blog that you are definitely just that! Whew! God is so good! And I am so glad I stumbled upon your blog. I hope that I can help encourage you, minus my complaint. I promise no more complaints.

    Love and Blessings,
    Lace

P.S. I found your blog from Hayley at A Beautiful Exchange. I am looking forward to reading your Liebster post.

    • Hi Lace! Thanks so much for your sweet comments, and I’m glad you enjoy my blog! I don’t know why I don’t use more pictures- not for any real reason, just haven’t really gotten into that. I’ll definitely try to incorporate those more.

I appreciate your feedback and your encouragement! I look forward to reading your blog!

      Peace and blessings,
      Erin
