borrowed from a fellow blogger:
In Life, God doesn’t give you people you want. Instead He gives you the people you need.. to hurt, love, punish and honor you.. to make you become who you are.
When someone breaks your heart, it teaches you that loving someone does not always mean that person will love you back. But don’t turn your back on love because when you find the right person, the joy that one person brings will make up for all the past hurts put together…times ten.
And don’t think you can guide the course of love. For love, if it finds you worthy, shall guide your course.
One man all by himself is nothing. Two people who belong together make a world.
Love is the ability and willingness to allow those that you care for to be what they choose for themselves without any insistence that they satisfy you.
Experience is the hardest teacher; it gives the test first and the lesson after.
The irony of love is that we tend to hold on when we need to let go and we tend to let go when we need to hold on.
True love is when you want for a person to be happy, even if you are not part of that happiness.
Through God, all things are possible…
