God-chaser. NC native, now planted in Jacksonville, FL. Happily married to a handsome church-planting pastor. I am easily excited by Jesus, education, cupcakes, Moleskine notebooks, and Pepsi. Overwhelmed by God's amazing grace, undeserving of His love and mercy.

Its true. Especially in politics where compromise is the currency of the business. I find I’m having to make a concerted effort every day to hold on certain basic principles and beliefs. I find a lot of meaning in that quote and also the idea that “you’ll never change what you are willing to accept.”
It’s not like you thought it would be in College. In the Real World they make you give up so much just to play the game, if your not careful you won’t have anything left. What about you Ms. Davis? Is the American education system everything you thought it would be or are you having to settle for less to get more than nothing? I wonder if our friends on the corporate side are having similar experiences?
