so it’s official- i got a 4.0 for this semester at uga! wow! i haven’t seen that on any grade report since…hmmm…let’s just say it’s been a long time! i’m really excited, and this is truly a testament that hard work pays off, and that with GOD, all things are possible! to GOD be the glory for the things he has done!
in other news…this has been my first day without really having anything to do and it’s felt great! i’ve been exhausted from having to be at work at 7am, and just energy put into finals and stuff. so, needless to say i knocked out last night shortly after 10 and didn’t wake up until close till 10 this morning. sleep is WONDERFUL and a little underrated. try it for yourself and see. also good news for today…I GOT FATI’S BIRTHDAY PRESENT in the mail today! i know that my birthday is in september (and fati knows that too) but sometimes we’re a bit slow on the draw about getting each other gifts. anyhow, i felt like it was an early christmas present and i am truly delighted at the new bible, new CD, and the personal note from a friend (always the best part). thanks fati!
so all in all, today has been a good day. the christmas season is here, and i’ll be parlaying in the warm phoenix sun soon enough! be encouraged all…peace and blessings!
“i love you, i love you, i love you lord today. because you care for me in such a special way. that’s why i praise you, i lift you up, and i magnify your name. that’s why my heart is filled with praise. my heart, my mind, my soul belongs to you. you paid the price for me way back on calvary. that’s why i praise you, i lift you up, and i magnify your name. that’s why my heart is filled with praise.”
“i need you. you need me. we’re all a part of God’s body. stand with me. agree with me. we’re all a part of God’s body. it is His will that every need be supplied. you are important to me, i need you to survive…i pray for you, you pray for me; i love you, i need you to survive. i won’t harm you with words from my mouth; i love you, i need you to survive. it is His will that every need be supplied. you are important to me, i need you to survive.”
